Jett Lott Owner
Jett is part of the 6th generation of the Slaughter families ranches. He and his wife Jaycee have 3 kids Jaxx, Lyncolnn, and Bronx. For the last 10 years since moving back to the ranch after college he has been running and gunning guiding hunts on the U Lazy S. He has spent his entire life growing up there. From chasing whitetail, aoudad, and wild hogs. To shooting quail and fishing as a kid. There is no telling how many miles and hours he has spent exploring every part of the ranch that it has to offer. He is pleaser in every facet of the word. He is extremely proud of his family's long history throughout this part of West Texas and is one heck of a story teller. He works extremely hard to make sure every client has the best hunt they could possibly ask for. If it is possible Jett will find a way to make it happen.
Trent McDonald
Trent is the true definition of a West Texan through and through. He is native of Post, Tx and has spent his entire life hunting and cowboying. He absolutely loves spending his winters and springs chasing big Texas free range whitetail and monster Texas free range aoudad. Meanwhile also during the hunting season and summer he spends his other time tending to his cow calf operation and his other love of rodeoing. When it comes to work, you won’t find many guys out there that will outwork him to get the job done and make his hunter as happy as possible. He has more patience than most and his brain is always spinning on figuring out the perfect plan to get your trophy on the ground. There is also never a dull moment with Trent. He has a great personality and way of connecting with hunters of all types and places from around the world. Rest assured if you are hunting with Trent you will be in great hands.
Travis Honeycutt
Travis is what we call in the hunting industry a straight up killer. He was born and raised just outside of Asheville, NC. When he was a young man he found out quickly his true love was for the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. For about the past 10-15 years he has been coming down to West Texas in the fall and winter chasing Texas free range whitetail and Texas Free range aoudad. During the spring and summer he is back home between North Carolina and Tennessee running fishing trips for his own company Asheville Anglers. He is the true definition of an overall outdoorsman. He can tend to be the quieter one out of our bunch, but rest assured he is always scheming something is his head to get to the ultimate goal. Being raised in the mountains of North Carolina also comes with you better have your walking boots laced up tight and ready to get down in the middle of it. He is always on the go and is as good as you could ask for when it comes to a hunting guide.
Giles W. Dalby iii
Giles or “GW” is a 6th generation rancher and a longtime great friend along with being one heck of a hunter. He successfully runs his own cow calf operation throughout the year on his family’s ranch “The Cross H Ranch”. He lives and breathes hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He is a genuine as they come with big personality. He specializes in finding big mature Texas free range whitetail and giant Texas free range aoudad. He has spent his whole life here in Garza County on his ranch 8 miles east of Post, Tx. You will feel right at home as a part of the U Lazy S Ranch Outfitters family with him as your hunting guide.
